An exceptional setting for paragliding

K2 Parapente is located in the heart of the Mont Blanc region, an ideal playground for cultural and sporting activities near Geneva, Chambery, Albertville and Lyon.

The town of Annecy, the little Venice of the Alps

Annecy is only 18 km from Doussard where the K2 Paragliding team is based at the K2 Outdoor shop.

Annecy's old town is a year-round tourist attraction, with its shops, medieval arcades and romantic canals and bridges. The Pâquier Park covers 7 hectares on the edge of the lake and the masterly Impérial Palace. It receives many tourists, artists, sportsmen and women all year round, not forgetting the families of swans and ducks. Every summer, the fireworks show of the Lake Festival brings together thousands of spectators in early August. Annecy also offers theatre, cinema, music festivals, shopping and museums to discover.

Lake Annecy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

K2 Parapente is located 5 minutes from Lake Annecy. The lake, a veritable palette of turquoise blues and greens, offers a unique panorama, surrounded by the equally prestigious mountains of Haute-Savoie, including the Mont Blanc glacier, the Col de la Forclaz in the Bornes massif, the summit of La Tournette and Le Semnoz in the Bauges massif and the Pointe Percée in the Aravis massif. Lake Annecy, the second largest natural lake in France, is first and foremost one of the main attractions of the Annecy valley, renowned for its environmental preservation and successful de-pollution.

Lake Annecy offers a wide range of activities for all ages, in summer and winter: cycling, walking around the lake, water sports: fishing, swimming, bathing, boat cruises, pedal boats, rowing, sailing, canoeing, water skiing, paddling, or scuba diving, there is something for everyone... !

An exceptional mountain range around Annecy
