K2 Parapente offers a 20 minute paragliding flight with acrobatic tricks: hang on, it's even better than a ride! You will be able to discover as many acrobatic figures as the weather will allow, all controlled by your experienced instructor who will fly the glider in complete safety.

The best of paragliding acrobatics

Even on a tandem flight you can enjoy the thrill of acrobatic paragliding. Aerobatics is a paragliding art that is the subject of exceptional international competitions. The Col de la Forclaz, from where K2 Parapente's first flights take place, is a well-known site for paragliding enthusiasts and regularly hosts the world championships in acrobatic paragliding.

 

Here are the emblematic figures that you can discover with K2 Paragliding in Annecy:

- The wing-over: series of pendular turns
- Pitching: acceleration and braking delayed by the fall or pendulum effect
- The 360°: a turn that goes faster and faster while diving
- The roll: the rotation of the wing from right to left
- Helicopter: the wing and the pilot turn together around a vertical axis in descent.

 

 

An exceptional gift card and a guaranteed thrill

You can book flights online in the afternoon between 1pm and 6pm from April to October. The flight lasts about 20 minutes. You should allow about an hour and a half on site. The time to get on the shuttle, fly and return to the K2 Outdoor shop.


You can also offer this paragliding flight as a gift without a date. The person who receives the gift voucher chooses the day of the paragliding flight according to their availability by contacting us. Don't forget to take the option of photos and videos to keep a souvenir of the paragliding experience. Our photos and videos will be provided to you either on your smartphone or by WeTransfert.


This flight is possible from 12 years old (minimum 40kg) and without age limit. The weight limit for this flight is 115Kg (85kg at noon). The ideal outfit is a pair of trainers or high boots, a jumper or windbreaker and a pair of sunglasses. We take care of everything else.

The K2 Parapente School, certified by the French Federation of Free Flight, has existed since 2005 with a team of instructors who are state-qualified BEES (Brevet d'état d'éducateur sportif), qualified SIV (Simulation d'Incident de Vol) and insured for the professional practice of free flight. All our instructors have a great deal of experience with thousands of hours of flying. We are here to listen to you, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

  • Reservations can be made directly online on our website, by telephone or in our

  • If you have booked by internet, payment is made online by credit card. The option

Cancellation from your side

  • If you arrive more than 15 days before the date of your flight, you will receive a full
    full refund.
    Within 7 to 15 days, 50% of the flight will be charged.
    Within 7 days, 100% of the flight will be charged. No

Cancellation by K2

  • In case of bad weather conditions or other events we may have to cancel your paragliding flight over Lake Annecy. In this case, we will inform you the morning of your first flight at the latest.
  • Depending on the schedule and your availability, we will try to find a later date for your flight. If no suitable date can be found, we will refund your reservation.

 

Gift certificate

  • The Consumer Code offers the consumer a right of withdrawal for a period of 7 days, from the acceptance of the offer, when purchasing online allowing him to obtain a refund or exchange of the product. No refunds will be made after the 7-day right of withdrawal.
  • The purchase refers to a dated service and is in the form of a gift voucher valid for 12 months. The validity of the gift voucher for a paragliding experience in Annecy will not be extended under any circumstances.

The day before your first paragliding experience in Annecy

  • You will receive a text message and an email to confirm the time and date of the appointment.

 

The day of your first paragliding experience in Annecy

  • The meeting point is 20 minutes before your flight time at our paragliding school in Doussard. We will take you by shuttle bus to the paragliding take-off point at the Col de la Forclaz in Montmin. The landing is in Doussard. We will come back together to the shop to show you the photos and video of your flight.
  • Please bring: a pair of trainers, a jumper, a windbreaker, trousers and sunglasses.
